Skills

As a teacher I am required to be prepared, organized, and detailed yet possess the flexibility and quick-thinking necessary in unpredictable classroom situations. Expertise in communicating is vital to easily and efficiently explain difficult ideas and concepts to an audience.  I am under daily pressure to display uniqueness and ingenuity in order to elicit and maintain students’ interest while developing their abilities. I am always confident and in control but easy-going enough to make 40+ students per class feel relaxed and comfortable in my learning environment.

Being a machine operator allowed me to develop the mindset needed to work within a corporate industrial power structure; work to a deadline, take orders, accept criticism, delegate tasks, maximize production, and adhere to the highest of international quality standards.
